Susan has spent more than thirty years in business and as a mediator and attorney. Before limiting her full-time endeavors to mediation and counseling clients on a wide range of business issues, Susan enjoyed a highly diversified career including positions as: general counsel at 1-800-Dentist®; business manager to some of the most exacting luminaries in the entertainment industry; an executive in the franchise industry; and as a patient representative at one of Miami's largest hospitals. In addition, Susan served as the president of a large homeowners' association in the Los Angeles area. This unusual breadth of experience brings a perspective to Susan's mediations that few others can offer.
Susan is a former Co-chair of the ADR Committee of the Business Law Section of the California State Bar and a former director of the LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to providing private mediation services, Susan serves on the Los Angeles County Superior Court ADR Program panel providing both pro bono and Party Pay mediation services for that program. In addition, she provides pro bono services for the Second Appellate District Court of Appeal Mediation Program. Susan also provides arbitration services to the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Alternative Dispute Resolution Services Attorney-Client Mediation and Arbitration Service.
Susan mediates in most areas of the law including business and contract disputes, employment law disputes, medical malpractice, healthcare, elder law, real estate, homeowners association, entertainment, landlord/tenant and other litigated and non-litigated disputes.
Susan has built her reputation by achieving outstanding results for the attorneys and clients with whom she has been privileged to work.
